Machine Shafting
Douglas can provide machined shafting produced to customer specifications. Douglas Manufacturing utilizes the most technologically advanced CNC Computer Controlled Equipment to produce shafting that is unparalleled
in quality. This technology, coupled with the professionals at Douglas, allows adherence to the tightest tolerances. Douglas shafting is available in a wide variety of materials. Cold Rolled 1018 and Cold Rolled 1045 are the standard shafting materials used at Douglas. TG&P shafting, 4140, Hot Rolled and others are available as specified by customer requirements.
To order simply fill out the dimensions below or provide us with the bushing style, number of keyways, shaft diameter, shaft length (I), Shaft extension from both sides of the pulley (K & L), and drive keyway (J).

WARNING: Douglas Pulleys are not intended for use as transmission drive pulleys on high speed applications, nor are they designed for applications using steel cable belts.
CAUTION: Applications using wire mesh belts require flat machined face pulleys.
