Procurement and Materials Specialist
Summary
Do you enjoy keeping things organized, solving problems, and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be? As an Inventory & Materials Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring that production runs smoothly by managing materials, tracking inventory, and maintaining accuracy in stock levels. You will be the connection between procurement, production, and suppliers—helping to keep operations efficient and seamless. If you have a keen eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, this role is for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify Deliveries: Confirm that delivered parts and materials match the orders and that quantities are correct.
- Inventory Management: Transfer received parts into stock containers, label them for easy identification, and maintain accurate records of received and stored materials.
- Scrap and Inventory Adjustments: Monitor, record, and adjust inventory levels to account for scrap and discrepancies.
- Cycle Counting and Inventory Audits: Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Follow-up on Purchase Orders: Track open and past-due purchase orders, ensuring timely communication with vendors and the production team. Enter and place new purchase orders as needed to support production schedules.
- Monthly Steel Inventory: Conduct a full inventory of steel each month, ensuring accurate stock levels and reporting any variances.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all departments to support production and procurement processes.
CNC Programmer/Operator
Summary
Responsible for programming, operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment. This includes programming, loading and unloading of machines, operating the machines, cleaning and maintaining the machines as directed. Machines included are CNC lathes, CNC mills, and end mills, and other types of equipment required to perform this job. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Extensive use of equipment and machinery associated with the assigned job task.
- Establish good communications and working rapport with team members to help ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
- A high level of attention to detail is essential.
- Write programs in M and G code for the CNC equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc Controls.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Ability to read blueprint/drawing, write and edit CNC programs and trouble shoot CNC problems.
- Make program adjustments and alter set-up on CNC equipment.
- Set-up and operate CNC lathes, and mills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
- Read a tape measurer, micrometer and understand engineered drawings.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by company.
- Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers.
- Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by the company.
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
- Regular, consistent attendance is a requirement.
- Available to work overtime as required by the company.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Material Handler/Floater
Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts, stackers, and overhead cranes to transport materials, load machines, and support production operations. This role includes performing cycle counts, backfilling for machine operators, assembly, and painting as needed. The ideal candidate must possess excellent forklift driving skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Conduct visual and quality inspections to ensure proper material handling.
- Assist in inventory control and material requisitioning as needed.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by management.
